The hiking tour starts from the Murauenhütte (1.593m) further following the markings to the Kasereihütte at 1.691m. At the fork Gipfel/Trogscharte you can walk about 250m towards Trogscharte and refresh yourself at the spring. Once at the top, you have an uninterrupted panoramic view.
Alternative descent: on the ridge eastward to the ski slope you can walk on gentle alpine soils. This leads back to the Murauerhütte (about 30 minutes longer descent time).
