- Description
-
Winter magic in Wildalpen. A circular trail that can be shortened or extended. The view of the steep, craggy rock faces of Griesstein and Schauffelwand combined with forest wilderness and wildlife rich in species make for the great natural wonder of Wildalpen.
- Directions
-
The Siebenseerunde is not called Siebenseerunde because of the 7 lakes, but the area is called Siebensee. The round tour starts directly at the Winterhöh car park. Shortly before the Waldbad Wildalpen, a small path goes uphill. From there it goes uphill for a bit and at the bend the Seesteig branches off to Hartlsee. From the Hartlsee, keep to the left, pass a small hut and turn left again into the forest. Now follow the track up to Antoinikreutz. From here, turn right along the forest road and forest paths to the Ahrerwiese meadow. After this, keep left and continue on a forest road until you reach the ski lift. Take the slope back down into the valley to the car park (near the forest sauna).
