Beautiful circular trail through the districts of Fohnsdorf without any notable inclines, also suitable for beginners. On the way, the cosy inns invite you to linger, or you can relax in our Aqualux Therme after the tour.

Whether by e-bike, mountain bike, city bike or even on foot, this loop through the municipality of Fohnsdorf with an altitude difference of only 184m is suitable for everyone. The starting point is the main square in Fohnsdorf. Past the football stadium to Dinsendorf, through the small village of Sillweg with its little church, the route continues to Rattenberg to the Perschler Inn. From Rattenberg the route leads along a field path to Aichdorf to the Wilhelmer country house. Along the Pölsbach stream you come to Hetzendorf via a gravel path between fields and meadows. At Hotel Schloss Gabelhofen, a footpath leads over the Pölssteg past the Aqualux Therme. Turn left along the cycle path to Wasendorf. Follow the signs to the right. Along the so-called railway embankment, the loop leads back to the main square in Fohnsdorf.

Your journey from:
VIENNA (approx. 2 hours)
Take the A2 to Knoten Seebenstein, direction S6 Semmering. Follow the Murtalschnellstraße S36 until exit Judenburg Ost. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). Follow the road signs to Fohnsdorf Hauptplatz.
LINZ (approx. 2 hours)
Take the A1 in the direction of Salzburg. In Sattledt change to the A9 in the direction of Graz until the St. Michael i.O. junction. Continue on the Murtalschnellstraße S36 in the direction of Klagenfurt until the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). Follow the road signs to Fohnsdorf Hauptplatz.
SALZBURG (approx. 2 hours)
At Salzburg Nord take the A1 in the direction of Linz Wien, at the Voralpenkreuz junction take the A9 in the direction of Graz to the St. Michael i.O. junction. Continue on the Murtalschnellstraße S36 until exit Judenburg Ost. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). Follow the road signs to Fohnsdorf Hauptplatz.
KLAGENFURT (approx. 1 hour)
Klagenfurt Ost onto the A2 in the direction of Graz Wolfsberg. Exit Bad St. Leonhard onto the Obdacher Bundesstraße B78 towards Zeltweg. Via Zeltweg bypass onto the S36, direction Klagenfurt, after approx. 2.5 km exit Judenburg Ost. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). Follow the road signs to Fohnsdorf Hauptplatz.
MURAU (approx. 1/2 hour)
Follow the Murtal Bundesstraße B96 in the direction of Scheifling. Turn left onto the Friesacher Bundesstraße B317 towards Judenburg. Follow the Murtalschnellstraße S36 to the Judenburg Ost exit. Turn right towards Hetzendorf on the L516 (Judenburger Straße). Follow the road signs to Fohnsdorf Hauptplatz.
