The Weiz Almenland Cycle Tour connects the district capital of Weiz with the Almenland. With this tour, a seamless cycle path connection was created from the Hungarian border town of Szentgatthard (Raabtalradweg) to the Almenland. Along the route there are a number of places to stop for a well-deserved break.
- Directions

The tour starts at the Weizer Swimming Pool (opposite the Weiz town hall) past the GH Strobl through Kalkleiten in the direction of Sturmberg/Naas. After a view of the Sturmberg ruins, the ascent begins in the direction of Naas village. The route continues uphill past the Patschabauern farm to the Patscha saddle. From there the trail continues to Greith and via Kogl to Zeil in St. Kathrein.

The district capital of Weiz is located in eastern Styria and is very easy to reach via the A2 motorway from Vienna (approx. 2 hrs) and Graz (approx. 30 min).
- Arrival from Vienna and from Graz:
On the A2 coming from Vienna and from Graz, take motorway exit 161 / Gleisdorf West in the direction of B54/B64. Follow the B65 / Gleisdorfer Bundesstraße until you reach the B54 / Wechselbundesstraße. At the roundabout, take the second exit north to the B64 / Rechberg-Bundesstraße. After approx. 15 km you will reach the town of Weiz.
- From Graz via the main road: Take Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai and Wickenburggasse to Jahngasse / B67a. Follow the B72 to Weiz and take the exit towards Weiz -West.
