Our Holiday Homes "Cottage Buchauer" and "Apartment Georg" and the "Cafe Seerose" are situated in thiersee valley in the midst of a splendid hiking, day trip, bathing and ski area - central but calm- next to the lake and only 5min per bus to the skiing area in Thiersee and 30min per bus to the largest skiing area in Austria (Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental). Situated on the shores of lake Thiersee, the surrounding area with the beautiful scenery is great for a nature or sporting vacation. If you are looking for tranquility and relaxation, you have found it.

Cottage Buchauer

The Cottage Buchauer has a advantageous location next to Cafe Seerose. All holiday flats have terrace and depending on the type of the apartment also ample room from 2 up to 8 persons.

All the holiday flats are complete furnished, some of them up to 3 sleeping rooms with extra bathrooms. In the kitchens you will find a cooker, fridge, all the dishes and depending on the type of the apartment a microwave, a baking oven, a dishwasher and an internet-terminal. Naturally all apartments are fitted with TV and safe.

Family and children

The holiday region offers you a variety of family-friendly facilities. "Cottage Buchauer" is partner of "Family Tirol". Children love to play all day long with other children, ramble, visit a farm and lots more besides so we offer our children on holiday an all-day child care service in the "Bambini Adventure Club". Thiersee valley

With imposing mountain ranges surrounding gently rolling hills, the Thiersee-valley represents nature of unusual variety and beauty. The Thierseetal is characterised by crystal-clear mountain streams, smoothly rounded rock formations covered by untouched mixed mountain forests.

The resort of Thiersee is located on the shores of the Thiersee lake. The resort offers a large, signposted hiking trail system. The lake location is ideal for casual walks. Take advantage of a wide range of sports activities. Cozy inns, snack stations and mountain huts invite you to enjoy a good meal. In winter there are two ski areas, ideal for beginners, families and professionals. Cross-country skiing fans will have a great time here as well. Numerous activities like ice skating, alpine curling, winter hiking tours, etc.
