From the Filzensattel, follow the prepared forest path in the direction of Jausenstation Grünegg. After approx. 1.5 km, a path branches off on the right-hand side in the direction of the Gabühelhütte or Steinbockalm. Before you reach the Gabühelhütte, you have to cross the ski slope again (ATTENTION!) At the Gabühelhütte, the landlady Klara is happy about every stop! From the Gabühel hut, a path leads to the left of the mountain station to the Steinbockalm ski hut, which is only 5 minutes away - it is also very pleasant to spend time there on the sun terrace.

Stay on the marked hiking trails. Small steps and a steady pace save energy going uphill and protect your joints going downhill. If you tilt your upper body slightly forward when going downhill, you reduce the risk of slipping. Check the weather forecast. Fog and bad weather can come surprisingly quickly. Turn back in good time before you take a risk. Do not leave waste in the countryside
