Grossarl: Ebengasse

You hike from Grossarl upstream the river. Just after you have crossed the bridge, you will see an old mill. Earlier, grain was also ground here. You continue along the river and then pass several houses and the Zimmerei Gruber, as well as the Kaiserbau. Then the path leads again through the snow-covered winter landscape until you finally reach Gasthof Neumayr, which is currently closed. Here you cross the river again.

Alternatively, you can walk about 200 meters along the street and pass Hotel Viehhauser. The route continues upstream. On the left is the Bichlkapelle. This chapel was built in the 17th century. It is part of the Kapellenweg. You turn into the Ebengasse on the other side of the street. Here you come to the Figlerkapelle - another chapel. Back on the same way or by public bus from the starting of the Ebengasse.

From the center of Grossarl, you go to the roundabout, then upstream (=left). After about 50 m you take the bridge over the river. From here, you follow the Achenpromenade up to Zimmerei Gruber. Here you cross the road (Bergstrasse) and walk a short distance to the left and pass the company Baumeister Kaiser - immediately thereafter (=right) the Achenpromenade continues and leads leisurely to the inn Neumayr (not opened). Then cross the river again and follow the path to the Bichl Chapel. (Until here, you can go by car or public bus.) Cross the river again and go back (=right) and stay on the street, about 50 m. Turn left into the Ebengasse and go on the same road until you reach the barrier.

OPTION: You can walk from the Gasthof Neumayr the walk along the street. There you come to Laireitingkapelle after about 1 km.
