- Description

Here you can spend a leisurely day hiking with the whole family. Take the mountain railway to the Bürglalm and continue on a short and comfortable footpath to theZachhofalm.
The Bürglalm and Zachhofalm have a lot to offer, such as:
Herb garden at Zachhofalm and Bürglalm Kneipp facility at the Zachhofalm Playground at the BürglalmOn the way from the Bürglalm cable car mountain station to the Bürglalm you pass the reservoir!
A great highlight on the route. - Directions

On certain days you can take the 6-seater chairlift Bürglalm for the ascent/descent. Once at the top station, you can either venture down a narrow path to the Bürglalm (approx. 10 min), or take a wider, partly gravel, partly earth path (approx. 15 min) to the hut. The Bürglalm is open daily in summer and winter. This tour can also be done in bad weather. A stop at the Bürglalm goes without saying. The tour continues on trail no. 63, a forest road downhill, through the forest in the direction of Zachhofalm. After about 10 min you reach a fork in the road, here you follow trail no. 63a uphill until you arrive at the beautiful Zachhofalm.
Way back: follows the same route - of course you can also follow the forest road downhill with the stroller - until you arrive at the heating plant Dienten, from here you have to follow the Hochkönig Bundesstraße (B164) downhill for approx. 500 m. In the sharp right-hand bend, follow the road further down the valley until you reach the ski center.

Together Follow the 10 rules for the correct handling of grazing animals and do not leave any waste in nature!
Do not kick stones Do not kick stones as this can seriously endanger other hikers. Marked places with a danger of falling rocks should be crossed as quickly as possible and with attention and caution.
Turn back in good time This is not a disgrace, but a sign of common sense. It becomes necessary when the weather changes, fog rolls in, and also when the path is too difficult or not in good condition.Emergency numbers: Alpine emergency call: 140
