- Description

At the Sendeanlage Holzlehen is the "Himmelsknoten". A forest trail leads to the Niggeltalalm (Igltalalm).
This area is a paradise for children - there is a waterwheel, a small pond, a large playground, cats, dogs, ducks... The parents enjoy the self-made delicacies.
The younger children, however, cannot hike to the Heukareck because this is a real mountain tour. On a beautiful hiking path you cross the Igltal. This is particularly beautiful place during the early summer - due to the various flowers in this area. You continue on a nice ascent to the Heukareck. From here you have a wonderful view to the Salzach valley - if the weather is very clear you can see the city of Salzburg.
You hike back on the same route to the Igltalalm.
- Directions
-
You go by car or hiking taxi on the Schiedweg in the district of Schied to the farm Holzlehen and further to the parking lot Himmelsknoten. Back on the same route. Or you hike down to St. Veig im Pongau.
Tip: On the way back, you can make a small "detour" to the Viehhausalm, 1,640 m or the Mooslehenalm, 1,449 m.
