The history of Radstadt, the state of Salzburg and Austria from 996 to 1996 is shown on 33 information boards along the outer city wall to the town hall in the city center.

The path leads you from the pond tower westwards along the city wall to the Metzgerloch (butcher's hole). At historically relevant "steps" or dates you will find information boards that tell you interesting facts about history. The path then leads through the Metzgerloch to the town square and on to the town hall.

The best thing to do is to park in one of the parking lots outside the city wall. The best options are the parking lot at Stadtteich P1 or at Gardeplatz P2, from there it is a 2-minute walk to the start of the Millennium Path.
