Did you know that wood felled during the waning moon, so-called "moon wood", is said to be of better quality? On the "Moon Trail" in the World Cup resort of Zauchensee, you will learn mystical and scientific facts about the moon at several stations. For example, you can look at the sky with a telescope at the observatory, learn everything about the influence of the moon on wood at the wood energy filling station, and collect herbs in the garden of the moon crater that should only be harvested during a certain phase of the moon for a higher active ingredient content.

At seven interactive experience stations made of wood, holidaymakers learn interesting aspects from the area of ​​"Science & the Moon" as well as the "Myth of the Moon". The inspiring themed trail begins directly behind the welcome gate of the moon adventure world, providing exciting views and insights over a distance of two and a half kilometres.
