This trail running route around Lake Ritzensee begins at the cross country stadium in Saalfelden. Follow the signage around the lake, then into the Kollingwald forest. After completing a loop in the forest, the trail takes you back along the lake shore to the starting point.

BY CAR
Drive on the Pinzgauer federal highway B311 from Zell am See to Saalfelden. When reaching the second roundabout, take a right in the direction of Maria Alm. Follow the road for 750 m through the town center. Take a righthand turn and cross a bridge towards Lake Ritzensee. Follow the road for 700 m until you reach the Hotel Ritzenhof on your right. The parking lot is located behind the Hotel Ritzenhof on the righthand side. The starting point of this tour is located a few metres from the parking lot.
