Mountain bike tour at the foot of the Ennskraxn to the Jägersee valley head.
The mountain bike tour starts out of the valley, slightly downhill along the Kleinarler Arche. After almost 1.5 km at the Brandstatt district, you leave the valley floor and the route branches off to the right and the ascent of approx. 450 meters in altitude begins. The tour leads past the organic mountain restaurant Lumberjack, which is definitely worth a stop. At the end of the ascent is the Gasthaus Galler, which offers all kinds of delicacies in a family atmosphere. The tour now continues very winding, with alternating ups and downs through the forests at the foot of the Ennskraxn.
About halfway through the tour there is the possibility to branch off to the left to the beautifully situated Steinkaralm and stop there (approx. 170 m altitude difference).
The same path leads back from the Steinkaralm to the point where you branched off and continue the tour towards Jägersee. At the head of the valley, the tour leads down to the Jägersee, an idyllic mountain lake, where a longer break should be planned in any case. To enjoy the unique nature around the lake, or to enjoy local specialties at Gasthaus Jägersee. In any case, there are enough reasons for this. The last few kilometers back to Kleinarl are comfortable, gently downhill along the Kleinarler Ache.
