SH 31 - Panorama Alm Loop

Start at the Schattberg X-Press in Saalbach. Directly at the cable car, cross the Saalach and cycle along the Glemmtal cycle path out of the valley to the Bergerkreuz district. Here you cycle left over the bridge, cross the main road and follow the asphalt Bergerkreuzweg uphill. First on asphalt, later on gravel, the route leads uphill with constant steepness and curves. You pass the Bergeralm and the Thurneralm and after a total of 680 hm you reach the highest point of the tour at the Panorama Alm. From here, a brisk gravel descent starts in a north-westerly direction past the Wirtsalm to the Spielberghaus. Either at the beginning via the short but fine Höllen trail, or immediately on the forest road along the Spielbergbach stream, you now return to the starting point in Saalbach.
