Instead of walking, the Hornbahn Russbach cable car takes you up to the “Hornspitz” and into the hiking paradise with a wide range of easy and moderate trails 1.450 m above sea level.

The Hornbahn cable car easily takes you up into the magnificent alpine pastures surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the Tennen Mountain Range, the Dachstein and the “Bishop’s Hut”. Who longs for flower-lined paths, terriffic views and peaks, is in the right place up here. The mountain experience still belongs to the most fascinating impressions of life and invites to drift away from the daily routine for a while. The pick-up train takes its passengers to the Edtalmhut where they will be welcomed with traditional music.
Operating times Summer 2012:
June 20th till July 3rd, 2012: every Wednesday
July 4th till 16th, 2012: Wednesday and Thursday
July 17th till August 30th, 2012: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
August 31st till September 26th, 2012: every Wednesday
September 9th, 16th and 23th, 2012: Hiking Sundays
from 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 Uhr to 5:00 p.m.
Every half of an hour, further ascents and descents if necessary.
The journeys with the "Ameisenexpress" are matched with the ascents and descents of the cable car.
In case of rain in the morning: no service!
