Location
Our family-run Hotel Alpina in Rauris is nestled right in the centre of approx. 4,000 m² of greenery. Alpina offers the best of both worlds: it is central, yet also situated in tranquil surroundings. In winter, just a 3-minute walk will take you right to the piste, Kreuzboden ski lift and the toboggan run, plus the free ski bus to the Hochalmbahnen gondola is just a stone's throw away.

All our rooms at Hotel Alpina come with: Bath or shower, Hairdryer, WC, Balcony, Phone, Satellite TV, Clock radio
Even on holiday, you have always dreamed of waking up feeling relaxed and completely rejuvenated: our health mattresses make this possible! Cots and bed linen for allergy sufferers are also available on request.

Treats & culinary delights
The half-board indulgence package at Hotel Alpina includes:
- 4-course evening meal (3 menus to choose from, of which one is vegetarian)
- 3 x weekly salad buffet
- 1 x weekly starters buffet
- 1 x weekly cheese buffet of Austrian cheese specialities
- 1 x weekly dessert buffet
- 1 x weekly candlelit dinner with digestif
We also have children's menus especially for our young guests. Whether they eat from the children's menu or the adults', satisfaction is the most important thing for us. If the children are happy, then the holiday for the parents begins. Obviously having our own little daughter Paula, we are able to speak from experience.

Combined with all the fantastic possibilities the great outdoors has to offer in so far as fitness activities like hiking, skiing or cycling are concerned, you can truly enjoy an all-round sporty and healthy holiday at Hotel Alpina. The healthy, regional cuisine in our restaurant tops this off perfectly.
Horses & riding
Real happiness on Earth is to be found on the back of a horse. This is just how we see it, and is precisely the reason we offer our guests the following extra riding package in collaboration with our partner company, Icelandic horse stud farm 'Fencl von Feueregg':
- Rides on Icelandic horses in the picturesque nature of the national park
- Dressage lesson with qualified instructor
- Jumping and tolt lessons
- Seat training on the longe
- Guided rides for the youngest children
- Courses and themed days on various topics
The riding centre is located just 3 km from the hotel in tranquil surroundings and comprises a 200-m oval track, a dressage area (20 x 40 m) and a longeing circle. The horses are kept (appropriate to the species) in an open stable with a paddock, which they have freedom to roam all year round. They are fed and trained based on the latest scientific knowledge.
