This several-hour hike showcases the many facets of Flawil, leading through meadows and over ridges at upper elevations, through forests and the picturesque river landscape of the Glatt-Wissenbach. Since the area’s topography makes it impossible to walk along the actual border, the picturesque and idyllic trail usually follows existing hiking trails as close as possible to the municipal boundary. The best way to take the trail is to hop on the PostBus from the Flawil train station to Magdenau or Wolfertswil and complete the approx. 24.5 km long circuit trail in two stages.
