- Description
-
This tour is suitable for wilderness loving people. At the Tremel you can take insights into the wilderness area Dürrenstein (protected area). A section leads along the alpine tour Hochkar - Dürrenstein. A good condition is a prerequisite to tackle this rarely committed variant. Just below the Ringkogel there is a place where you need your hands to move on safely.
- Directions
-
Starting from Klaus you follow the forest road next to the Lassing river downhill for about 250 m, then on the right an alpine steeple with the trail number 288 leads steeply over meadow and forest. You come into a beech forest and later you cross a stream. The trail leads steadily rising and little committed up to the Tremel. If you choose the ascent on the Tremel left to the Ringkogel, you will always walk along the mountain ridge first in the forest and later along the ridge left and right. There are two noticeable ascents in this tour. The Ringkogel is a rewarding lookout mountain.
