- Directions
-
From the Sparbach Nature Park visitor centre, we will walk along past the animal sanctuary, and then towards the adventure playground. From there, we will hike past the Raimund Pine to the ruins of Johannstein Castle. We will then head south until we come to a covered rest point after approx. 30 min. After that, our route will take us past the Dianaquelle spring and the Temple of Diana, to the Prince's Pine. From there, we will hike up to the highest point – the Köhlerhütte at 571 m above sea level. This ascent is not suitable for pushchairs. We will follow the same route downhill, and complete our route by heading south-east, towards Schacherplatz (the covered rest point), and gradually downhill towards the Leopold-Mühle inn and back to the starting point.
