Conquer the Queen of the Mountains in the footsteps of the great poet of world literature! The Rigi Railway takes you comfortably to the starting point of Romiti. From Rigi First, the mountain trail first leads over lush mountain meadows and then through beautiful mixed forests to heights with spectacular views. Above Kloesterli, where Goethe stayed, it crosses the Arth-Rigi railway line. The crowning ascent via Staffel to the Rigi summit follows, where the fantastic 360° panoramic view will make you forget any strain in no time. The poet-prince took the way to the summit on his first Swiss journey (1775) under his feet and was very enthusiastic. Come and let yourself convinced.
