- Description

NB: the itinerary is very easy to follow as it consists of only a dirt road and a single trail leading up to the peak.
From the car park head west along the winding road on the slopes of Monte Lavino, descending steeply towards Valle Pra di Lavino.
After this stretch, with some ups and downs, you come to the Cap mountain pass, at 1736 m, where the slopes become gentler.
Follow the road below the east slope leading to Cima Avèz, through sparse woods and meadows.
At the crossroads with the trail ascending to the peak, leave the road, before it starts descending towards Malga Pra di Lavino, and climb the last few metres in elevation up to the peak of Cima Avèz ( 1895 m ).
Trace your steps back to the starting point.

Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
- Directions
-
From Val di Ledro or Val del Chiese drive up to Passo Ampola and the Ampola hut. From the restaurant take the road ascending to passo di Tremalzo. About 4- 500 metres before the actual pass, on the right, take the road that enters the wood leaving the broad meadows at the base of the pass.
The west road leads to the field near Passo del Dil ( 1726 m ).
On the south-facing slope of the mountain, continue along the increasingly narrow dirt road up to an open space with a sign of no entry.
