- Description
-
Take the Madrisa cable car on the 10-minute trip from Klosters village up onto the Saaseralp. The winter hiking trail starts from here. The most striking feature is the «saga tower» with its giant 100-metre-long slide. This wooden building twelve metres tall is the centre of Madrisa Land, the first adventure park in the Alps. The well-maintained track can be walked with ease with good winter hiking boots. First it leads to Untersäss and towards the Zügenhüttli, always with views across to the Silvretta massif. Passing over the Büelen and under the Züg, you will reach the mountain station of the Zügenhüttli chairlift after a good hour of hiking. After a short rest in the homely mountain restaurant, follow the same trail back to the Madrisa mountain station and then back down into the valley to Klosters.
