203 Alp Stätz

A beautiful winter hike on the mountain. The first metres in altitude are made directly with the Pedra Grossa chairlift. From there it's pretty much the same altitude as far as Alp Stätz. Via Sartons you then return to the village of Lenzerheide. On the way you enjoy beautiful panoramic views, various refreshment stops and a view of the frozen Heidsee lake.

The start of route 203 - Alp Stätz, is at the Tourist Office Lenzerheide. We follow the main road and then turn left towards Eisfeld.  At Eisfeld in Lenzerheide we turn right and walk past the church. We walk through the squirrel forest to the lake, turn left and walk to the Fadail car park. After the ascent next to the Kinderland Auarara we arrive at the Pedra Grossa valley station. Take the 4-seater chairlift up to Alp Nova and turn right to Spoina. Once in Spoina, we follow the snow-covered winter hiking trail to the next junction, which leads up to the left to the Cumascheals valley station. We continue along the winter hiking trail to the Sartons mountain hotel. From there we take a shortcut that leads us to the lake. Continue along the lake towards Lenzerheide. Through the Eichhörnliweg we return to the starting point.
