Take the gondola from Sils Maria up to the middle station of the Furtschellas gondola. The culinary trail begins at the La Chüdera mountain restaurant, where you have breakfast or the starter. From here, it leads into the Val Fex, depending on the chosen route, either the direct way or via Marmoré. From Marmoré you have a great view on the lake plateau and the peaks of Piz Duan, Lunghin, Lagrev, Polaschin, Güglia and Albana. To the left, the valley of Val Fex with Fedacla creek opens up. In the background you can see the mountain peaks of Chapütschin, Tremoggia with its wide glacier, Fora, Güz, Led and Salatschina. The descent to Curtins in Val Fex follows a beautiful hiking route. The observant rambler can spot countless flowers and interesting rocks along the edge of the path. After the hamlet of Curtins, you reach the road, which you follow out of the valley towards Crasta. At the Hotel Sonne Fex you have the main course.
The mountain church in Crasta dates from the 15th century and has unmissable frescoes inside. After Crasta, you descend to the plain, cross the creek and pass by the beautiful old houses of Platta. A romantic trail through the gorge of Fedacla leads back to Sils Maria, where you have a delicious dessert at the Hotel Seraina.

Vegetation: When it comes to flora, Oberengadin is one of the most varied and interesting for plant life in the Alpine range. It is at the sub-Alpine and Alpine level. Its blossoming plants and other vegetation differ from those of other Alpine valleys in many ways. The flora is virtually magnificent in spring immediately after the snow melts, with white crocus fields, soldanellas, gentians, anemones etc., and during the summer months the meadows are transformed into glorious flower gardens.
