The walk requires an intermediate level of fitness. It leads to the rather isolated peak of Krvavac on Mt Bjelašnica. Since the peak is overgrown in scrub it can be accessed only from the eastern face.

The Umoljani-Krvavac route takes you over the pass of Crveni klanac and Greda. Krvavac can be seen from the pass. You reach Greda relatively quickly; it's only 5-6 kilometres away.
The peak of Krvavac is entirely covered in scrub. There is only one way to the top on the north-east face of Krvavac. You can only see it from the foot of the peak.
On the way back you take the same road. The whole route is some 13km in length, and the altitude difference is around 700m.

Head northwest from Umoljani, on the road to the pasture villages in Gradina. Continue through Crveni klanac to Dugo Polje. Cross the road in Dugo Polje and continue up the ridge to Krvavac. When you reach the top of the ridge, skirt around from the right and climb to the top of the peak from the east, up the road that carves through the scrub.

Take M18 to Krupac, just after the quarry turn right onto R442a towards Mt Bjelašnica and Mt Igman. When you reach Hotel Maršal on Bjelašnica continue straight ahead, then descend all the way down to Šabići. From Šabići continue to the right till you reach the junction where the road to Umoljani branches off by the bridge. Turn right and go up the road to Umoljani.
