The Ponjeračko-boganovićka cave has always been a challenge for all the interested boys and girls. For generations, it was a test for a brave childs eagerly adventures and challenges. Probably its characteristic of entering one village and coming out in another, then the imposing size itself, then those terraces and channels with pools give it some special charm. As it is located near our mountain hut (45min), it is spatially subdivided and becomes part of the Green Line Via Dinarica (a large Balkan project supported by UNDP), so its incorporat into our activities is indispensable. Primarily, the need our cave and its splendor to be seen by everyone who is attracted to this blend of love between nature and adventure, has prompted us to make this cave more accessible, while at the same time trying not to disturb its natural appearance. It is hard to describe what this place makes so mesmerizing. The path to the cave itself is a dreamy walk over the meadows with a stream Ponjercica which fought its way through the rocks for millions of years. The stream actually fights itself a way under the soil in its spring and flows through only few times a year.
