Brief description: Der Kemmeriboden-Rundweg ist eine leichte Schneeschuh-Rundtour mit Start und Ziel im bekannten Kemmeribodenbad. Auf dem ersten Teil der Strecke steigt die Route gleich ca. 120 Höhenmeter ins Gebiet Kemmeri an. Bei frischem Neuschnee und ohne bestehende Spuren kann man hier aus der Puste geraten. Etwas oberhalb Unterkemmeri wird man jedoch mit einer tollen Aussicht belohnt.

Der anschliessende Abstieg durch den Pulverschnee bis hinunter zur Emme bei Schwand macht viel Spass. Ab Schwand folgt man mehrheitlich dem Sommerwanderweg zurück zum Kemmeribodenbad. Die Einkehr im einzigartigen Gasthaus und die legendäre Merängge sollte man sich hier nicht entgehen lassen.

Description: The Kemmeriboden circular trail is an easy snowshoeing tour that starts and finishes at the renowned Kemmeribodenbad Hotel. Along the first leg of the trail, the route immediately climbs some 120 metres in elevation up to the area known as Kemmeri. In fresh new snow and with no tracks groomed in advance, this can be quite a challenge, physically. However, once we get above Unterkemmeri, we are rewarded with great views.
The descent that follows, down through powder snow to the Emme river at Schwand is nothing but fun. From Schwand we mostly follow the summer hiking trail back to the Kemmeribodenbad Hotel. A stop at this unique inn that serves the legendary Merängge is simply a must.
