Description
We start our tour at the Huerzeler cycling station Playa de Muro South heading north. Soon we reach the turnoff inland, where we first cycle along the s'Albufera nature reserve. After a few kilometres we reach the village of Sa Pobla, which we cycle around to the north. Then we continue via Búger and Campanet, where we are already in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains. The terrain becomes correspondingly more hilly.

Via Selva and Lloseta we continue westwards to Alaró. Here we begin the ascent to the Orient Pass. Between two mighty rock towers, the road winds its way up to the top of the pass. The ride continues through the beautiful Orient high valley over the serpentines of the Coll d'Honor.

We then enjoy a rapid descent via Bunyola to the plains of the Mallorcan midlands, where we begin our return journey eastwards. This takes us via Sencelles, Sineu, Muro and Can Picafort back to Alcudia/Playa de Muro.

Directions

The tour can also be done from the Huerzeler cycling stations Playa de Muro North, Puerto Alcudia and Can Picafort.
