A walking tour around the “Kleine Kinzig“ reservoir. On the dam wall and from some other places you have a stunning view over the lake, otherwise the trail runs through the forest. This lake supplies drinking water – swimming and watersports are not allowed!

First, follow the “Wasserpfad” trail in the valley bottom along the “Kleine Kinzig” river to the water works (Wasserwerk). There turn right and then keep to the left uphill to the dam wall (Staudamm). Walk around the lake for the next 8 km (signposts: Staudamm Kleine Kinzig, Stausee/Hüttenbächle, Hüttenhardtsträssle, Weiherhalde, Schwabbachweiher, Kaspersloch, Staudamm Kleine Kinzig / yellow diamond). On the way back to the starting point, you will discover the 2nd part of the “Wasserpfad” following the so-called “Burgstallweg”.
After a nice hike arround the “Kleine Kinzig“ reservoir you can go for a refresh to the Silbersee lake.

B28 from Freudenstadt direction Strasbourg, at the end of the town turn left in direction to Schömberg. Pass Schömberg in direction to Reinerzau / Schenkenzell. At the beginning of "Reinerzau - Oberes Dörfle" turn right towards "Stausee Kleine Kinzig".
