Hotel Alpenhof - im allseits bekannten Alpenressort Semmering
There are two well-equipped ski resorts near the hotel - Semmering and Stuhleck. In Semmering, which is only a 5-minute-drive from the hotel, there is the longest lit piste in Europe; it can be clearly seen from the indoor swimming pool. Apart from pistes there is also a bobsleigh run, children’s area, ski school, and ski rental service on the premises. Stuhleck, a 10-minute-drive from the hotel, is a real winter paradise for all skiers, including lovers of cross-country skiing. There is also a bobsleigh run, snow tubing, lit fun park for free style lovers, and a small ski lift for beginners and families. Friendly and welcoming huts, cottages and stalls are ideal for relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying beautiful views. There is a huge car park which is free of charge. The quality of pistes is guaranteed. There are world cup competitions regularly held in both areas. Among the most popular slopes are three MEGA night pistes – night skiing on Weltcuppiste (place of the World Cup), a family slope and Kogelabfahrt area with a fun park for skiers and snowboarding fans.
