Efficient, always different and natural. These three definitions would be sufficient to provide a complete description of the Racines ski area. But by taking a closer look, we would notice that Racines is much more.
First, this area, with its incredible atmosphere and enormous spaces, attracts skiers and snowboard lovers of all skill levels. At the same time it is nearly a complete recreation area for all those seeking rest and relaxation.
The ski resort Ratschings-Jaufen (1.300 m - 2.150 m) is one of the most modern in South Tirol. 8 high performance and comfortable lifts, 25 km of slopes and a toboggan run guarantee you wonderful days in a unique landscape.

Opening hours:
Lifts: daily from 08.30 a.m. until 16.15 p.m.
Skipass office: daily from 08.00 a.m. until 17.00 p.m.

Fees are tied to the regulations and sales conditions listed here below.

Reductions Season 2011/12:
Children - born after 01-12-2003= free, if their accompanist buys a ticket for the same period.
Children born after 01-12-1995 = children fare
Seniors born before 01-12-1951 = seniors fare
Seniors born before 01-12-1931 = free
Disabled persons over 60 % of disability = children fare

The age needs to be proven with photo ID - if required. Our employees are not allowed to make any exception.

Keycards
All ski passes will be issued on KeyCard. Intact KeyCards can be returned to all ski pass tills. Deposit for KeyCards: 5.- €.

Refunds
In case of accident or illness refund can be granted, provided that the ticket is deposited at the of?ce and a medical certi?cate is shown. If the ticket is returned later than 10.00 o’clock a.m., the day concerned is counted as a whole day of use. Refund of day-tickets is not possible. No Refund: Half day- and day passes, bad weather, avalanche dangers, closing of business, stoppage of ski-runs, unexpected departures, etc.

Sales conditions
The ski-ticket is a personal document. It is not possible to change a ticket for a different one or to transfer it to another person. The date of validity can not be altered or extended. Lost tickets can not be replaced. Skiers have to observe the FIS-regulations. Incorrect behaviour and misuse of the ticket can result its withdrawal. Furthermore the trans-portregulations of the Autonome Provinz Bozen - Südtirol are valid.

ALPIN RESCUE SERVICE: The piste-control and rescue-service (SOS-service) only covers pistes marked as open. The time of the last piste-control is clearly shown.
