Der Patscherkofel, traditionell als „Innsbrucker Hausberg“ bekannt, ist im Januar 2012 zum dritten Mal Gastgeber Olympischer Winterspiele. Das abwechslungsreiche, sonnenverwöhnte Gelände bietet absolut schneesichere Pisten aller Schwierigkeitsgrade und ist für jede Altersstufe geeignet. Darüber hinaus wird ab der Wintersaison 2011/12 mit dem neuen Snowpark auf dem Patscher Sonnenplateau in 1900 m Höhe ein zusätzlicher Anziehungspunkt für alle Freestyle begeisternden Wintersportler entstehen. Berühmt ist der Patscherkofel nicht nur wegen seiner großen Sportgeschichte, sondern auch für das einmalige Panorama über Innsbruck, Stubaital und Inntal sowie mehr als 400 Berggipfel. Genießen Sie diese außergewöhnlichen Momente in Strandkörben und Liegestühlen auf unseren großen Sonnenterrassen im Panorama – Cafe - Restaurant und machen sie Ihre Zeit am Innsbrucker Hausberg mit gutbürgerlicher Tiroler Küche und freundlichen Service unvergesslich.

Patscherkofel - the mountain of Olympic Games and World Cup Races
The Patscherkofel has always played a big part in sports history: Olympic Wintergames in 1964 and 1976 with the legendary race of Franz Klammer, in the season 1998/99 the greatest team success in the history of the world cup with 9 racers of the ÖSV Super G-team in the lead. The winner was Hermann Maier. In 2003 Michaela Dorfmeister won the women´s downhill race, the two Super G races were won by Renate Götschl and Brigitte Obermoser. Ski along the tracks of the Stars via the Olympic Run and enjoy the new and wider Family Run. The Patscherkofel offers slopes for all levels of ability and also an outstanding view over Innsbruck, the Stubai Valley, the Wipp Valley and Inn Valley. The numerous mountains higher than 3.000 m will make a lasting impression on you.
