Our family-run Alpenrose Apartments are located in the centre of Obertauern, where you can indulge in pleasure on the pistes from November to the start of May. During your stay you get a space in the carpark of the hotel’s garage, free of charge. There is one free car park per apartment.
From the Apartments it is just a short walk to the Gamsleitenbahn, so your skiing or snowboarding fun starts and ends right at your apartment! Having reached the top, around 100 dreamy kilometres of pistes, which have plenty of variety await – it is not for nothing that the red and the green “Tauernrunde” enjoys a legendary reputation. Facilities in our cosy, Alpine country style wellbeing apartments are very comfortable. Each apartment kitchen has a 4-plate electric hob, oven, sink, dishwasher, cookware and dishes, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, coffee machine, table linen and tea towels (changed each week). Our apartments have open wardrobe boxes in the entrance hall area, a bathroom with shower or bath tub and some have a separate WC, living room and bed-sitting room, depending on the size double room, a three-bedded room or a double room with a single bed. The basic facilities in the apartments also include flatscreen cable TV flat screen, radio, telephone, electronic room safe and pull-out double couch. WLAN is available for each room /apartment for a fee. Depending on the apartment type, some bathrooms have a separate WC and are equipped with a hairdryer and mirror for cosmetics.
The south-facing apartments have a large balcony, which is accessible from the living room and the double bedroom. We give each guest their own room key in the form of a Key Card. This means all our guests can come back to their apartment in the Alpenrose and not have to rely on just one person! You have a choice in the Alpenrose: have a nice relaxed breakfast in our breakfast room with a substantial breakfast buffet or avail of the bread delivery service and have breakfast in your apartment. If you decide on the bread delivery service we will bring you the baked goods you want to your room door every morning – and the daily newspapers too, if you order them. What ever you choose you’ll start the day in a lovely way, and will be well stocked up for the day ahead. Another special extra – after an action-packed day of sport in the ski area our guests have the opportunity to use the hotel’s own Turkish steam bath, Finnish sauna and infrared-cabine, which are open 6 days a week, free of charge. You can leave your sports equipment such as skis, snowboards, poles, ski shoes …, in our heated ski and shoe room. During your stay in one of our Alpenrose Apartments you get a space in the carpark of the hotel’s garage, free of charge. This saves you the bothersome hunting around for your car at the end of your holiday, and you can load up and unload conveniently, right on the hotel doorstep!
