Relaxing times at the Tauferberg
The Tauferberg hotel, guesthouse and country inn grew naturally over the years... and is located on the sunny Niederthai plateau in the Ötztal valley. The family-run hotel is renowned for the hospitality of managers Brigitte and Hermann Falkner as well as the modern comfort and bio rooms, cosy apartments and welcoming public rooms. A small Finnish sauna and an infrared-cabin can be enjoyed after a day in the fresh mountain air. Traditional country inn and restaurant The dining areas have been lovingly furnished with an eye for detail and give the Tauferberg hotel its unique, welcoming atmosphere. Famous for a traditional yet light cuisine, the relaxed restaurant can accommodate up to 80 diners, whereas the traditional wooden Zirben Stube has seating for 25 people. The bar is the ideal meeting place to round off the evening. A large, south-facing sun terrace is directly in front of the hotel. Comfortable accommodation catering for different needs Depending on the category, rooms feature a shower/WC, Sat-TV, telephone, balcony, sitting corner and safe. Family rooms have two separate bedrooms. Our new bio rooms are furnished exclusively with natural, local materials Additional accommodation at our guesthouse Guests staying at our guesthouse (50 m) can use all of the leisure facilities at the hotel. The guesthouse has been completely refurbished and now offers nearly the same amenities as the hotel: its own Finnish sauna, solarium, drying room, ski room, its own breakfast room as well as a garden.
