Our hotel comes across to you as just as inviting as its inner workings are rich.
A bright reception desk in the cosy entrance hall, an open walkway to the bar and the restaurants.

Here, you can stay in style with plenty of luxury and cosiness. Unpack your suitcases and make yourself at home.

There is enough space in the rooms and hotel apartments. And in the evening, before retiring to your comfortable bed, do not forget to once more step in front of the door to your room. You must look at, smell and feel the mountain night.

At any rate, you can expect genuine Allgäu cuisine, as grandmother’s recipes have not been forgotten yet. We have just refined them a little bit, restored them so to speak.

We also provide you with Allgäu mountain cheese, which is available in Oberstdorf in particularly good quality. But the art of exquisite international cuisine is also cultivated by our kitchen team.

And it is a matter of course that we only use high-quality products – preferably from local agricultural and hunting sources. The wine cellar is the chef’s matter, the afternoon cakes come from mother’s bakery and breakfast – it is simply the way a breakfast should be, substantial and refreshing!

New from winter 2006, we have non-smoking rooms available on the second and third floors. Please ask about them at the reception desk.

And in the evening, before retiring to your comfortable bed, do not forget to once more step in front of the door to your room. You must look at, smell and feel the mountain night.

Wellness is an English word, but everyone understands it. Here in Birgsau, we would put it this way: "guet gong long".

A waterfall, whirlpool, sauna and solarium will keep you occupied on so-called rainy days but there is no weather during which you could not go outside.

We offer various forms of massage, such as a partial massage and a massage for the whole body, a massage of the reflex zones of the foot, shiatsu and ayurveda. And, in addition to all this, also cosmetics and foot care.
