„Alpin Coaster Maisiflitzer“ – open all year round
The first alpine coaster in the province of Salzburg.

The toboggans can reach a speed of up to 40 km/h. Jumps, waves and 5 loops, built into the track, in crease the thrill even more – but you always can control the speed as you wish. This fascinating attraction starts and ends at the “Schaufelberg” parking place in the heart of Kaprun.

YOUR FAMILY MOUNTAIN – IN THE CENTRE OF KAPRUN

We can offer you 68 hectares of well-groomed slopes and guaranteed snow due to perfect snow making facilities at the family mountain Maiskogel. Both beginners and professionals will find their favourite ski slopes here. The 4-seater chair lift “Panoramabahn Schaufelberg” offers you a comfortable ride up to the centre of a beautiful skiing area, with the “Maisi” drag lift and the 6-seater chair lift “Almbahn Kaprun”. Both chair lifts are equipped with bubbles, so you can enjoy your skiing days in all weather conditions.

The Maiskogel cable car is convenient for families with children, as it only takes 5 minutes to reach the main skiing area. The practice slope on the Maisilift is ideal for all those who are making their first turns on snow. For ambitious ski stars they`ll find everything here their heart desires. No waiting time in lift queues, a lot of room for fun and exercise in nature at it`s purest, special children`s meals in mountain huts and the Maisi snowman who won`t even melt in summer. Professional children`s ski instructors, from the local ski schools, take great care that the children have a successful start to winter fun.
The perfect location and extensive use of snow making facilities provide a snow guarantee from the beginning of December till spring time.

Above the roofs of Kaprun and under the stars. Night ski tours are allowed on Wednesday evenings from 4pm until 10pm.
