Ski resort Les Contamines - Montjoie / Hauteluce

THE SKI AREA OF LES CONTAMINES-HAUTELUCE

Straddling the Savoie and Haute-Savoie, the Les Contamines-Hauteluce ski area has 48 slopes at an altitude of between 1,200 and 2,500 metres, on both sides of the Col du Joly. With exceptional snow and sunshine, the site offers a wonderful panorama from Mont Blanc to Beaufortain. The slopes wind through valleys, wide slopes, fir trees, chalets and alpine farms. Access is either from Contamines-Montjoie (two gondolas) or from Hauteluce-Belleville (one gondola) in Savoie.

THE OLYMPIC 6-SEATER CHAIRLIFT

A NEW FEATURE THAT MAKES THE SKIERS' JOURNEY MORE FLUID

During the winter of 2022, the Roselette chairlift, one of the oldest in the area has been replaced by a detachable 6-seater chairlift (TSD6), called the Olympique chairlift. Indeed, the old "TSF3", had its beginnings in 1960 as a single chairlift single seat. It was then transformed into a 3-seater chairlift in 1985, and has remained the same ever since. It provided a link to the Hauteluce sector from Les Contamines. The line of the Olympique chairlift has been slightly shifted to the right of the old teleport. It allows access to the Hauteluce area in 5 minutes and 30 seconds, i.e. twice as fast as with the old

THE SKI AREA'S FUN ZONES

The Ludo Park relaxation zone to admire the summit of Mont Blanc

The relaxation zone has been created at the entrance to the Ludo-Park, a very popular play area in the ski area. Rest and relaxation facilities are available for a short break with a 360° view, facing the splendid Mont Blanc chain.

The Ecureuils slope, a playful slope for the youngest

The green squirrel trail is equipped with games and courses on the theme of squirrels. This 500 metre run is aimed at beginners and will delight the youngest skiers.

#LES CONTAS, the new reason to photograph Mont Blanc at the top of the slopes

In winter 2021, a chill zone has appeared at the arrival of the Col du Joly chairlift between Hauteluce and Les Contamines. An opportunity to relax on the sunbeds and take a photo souvenir with #LESCONTAS, with the breathtaking view of the Mont Blanc chain in the background.
