Anfangs bedecken noch teils dichte Wolken den Himmel und es kann noch etwas regnen, nur im Weinviertel bleibt es weitgehend trocken. Am meisten Niederschlag ist im Mostviertel und im Alpenvorland zu erwarten. Die Schneefallgrenze bewegt sich zwischen 600 und 1000m. Tagsüber hört der Regen allmählich auf und die Sonne kommt hervor, im Mostviertel kann es aber teils bis zum späteren Nachmittag etwas tröpfeln. Der Wind weht lebhaft bis stark aus West bis Nordwest.
