WINTERNEWS 2009/2010

Die Silvrettaseilbahn AG und die Bergbahnen Samnaun AG investieren auch im Sommer 2009 weiter in die Verbesserung des Skigebietes. So werden in den Sommermonaten folgenden Projekte verwirklicht:

SPEICHERTEICH IDALPE II:
Damit die Wasserversorgung unserer Schneeanlage verbessert wird, errichtet die Silvrettaseilbahn AG auf einer Seehöhe von rd. 2.500 m einen Speicherteich mit rd. 165.000 m³ Speichervolumen.

*SCHNEEANLAGE: *
Damit auch im kommenden Winter eine faszinierend weiße Schneedecke unsere Wintersportler begeistert, investieren wir auch in diesem Sommer wieder kräftig in den Ausbau der technischen Beschneiung. Die Pisten 14a, 14b, 15 und 72a werden mit einer Schneeanlage ausgerüstet.

ÜBUNGSLIFT MATHON:
Nach Abschluss der Erdbauarbeiten des Lawinenablenkdammes westlich von Mathon soll ab kommender Wintersaison wieder ein neuer Übungslift zur Verfügung stehen.

EISBAR IDALPE:
Die Eisbar und die Fassade beim Restaurant Idalpe werden modernisiert.

Ischgl lies in the Paznaun valley between the Silvretta and Verwall groups, at 1,377 m above sea level. With over 200 km of slopes and more than 40 lift systems, the resort is one of the largest ski areas in the Alps. Ischgl is certainly full of character, which is reflected in the generous selection of festive après-ski parties and several top-class hotels. The season finale is celebrated with major pop concerts on a regular basis.
90% of skiing takes place between 2,000 m and 2,872 m, and the northern slopes guarantee snowy skiing pleasure from the end of November to the beginning of May.
With over 40 lift and cable car systems and more than 200 km of well-groomed slopes, the Silvretta arena links Ischgl to the Swiss tax-exempt area of Samnaun – so don’t forget your passport!
