Winter pleasures with no queues and a new wellness chairlift. Optimum skiing in Hochzillertal, which, with 35 lifts and 155 km of slopes on ”Gold-Steff” Stephan Eberharter’s home mountains, is one of the 10 best ski regions in the world. Hochzillertal is a hot insider tip for all those who want to arrive to “Zill out” at the legendary crystal hut at 2,147 m already warmed up! Hochfügen-Hochzillertal was recently catapulted from insider tip to 3rd place in the international ski resort test (www.skiresort.de), and was even awarded 1st place for its parking, babysitting and hut facilities!
The new car park in Kaltenbach, with direct access from the A road, can be used free of charge by all guests holding valid ski passes.
Hochzillertal has also proved itself to be worthy of its title as an international ski resort in terms of guaranteed snow (75% of the slopes can be snowed up) and environmental initiatives. The large ski and depot service station down in the new valley station is especially popular with families, lightening their winter load…
