The Hotel Stella Montis, recently renovated, is located in a sunny quiet position in the wonderful Val di Fassa, Trentino, Dolomiti. Meadows, woods and the wonderful peaks of the Dolomites, combined with picturesque tourist villages, will make your holiday unforgettable. The hotel The Hotel Stella Montis has 38 comfortable rooms, completely renovated, which can meet the requirements of any customer. There are rooms equipped with 1, 2, 3 and 4 beds. All rooms have a private bathroom, satellite television, Internet connection, mini bar and a large balcony. Some rooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi, while others have a multipurpose shower stall. From the large balcony you can enjoy a wonderful panorama overlooking Campitello di Fassa and Dolomiten. Services The Hotel Stella Montis has a large entrance and is equipped with a comfortable dining room, bar, tavern and television hall. The excellent cooking with many local dishes and the accurate service make the atmosphere very cosy and this contributes to the success with our customers, who often come back again to us for their holiday. Customers have also at their disposal a large outside parking and a covered garage. The hotel is open all year round. A large well-lit hall equipped with bar, television and comfortable sofas is available to the guests to enjoy a little relax alone or to meet here with friends. Wellness The new wellness centre is at your disposal with sauna, massages and Mediterranean swimming pool to make your stay at the hotel even more pleasant. The use of sauna, swimming pool and gym are free for the hotel guests. The massage service is available on request at the beauty farm centre. Val di Fassa - Campitello The seven communes of Val di Fassa - Dolomiti, located at an altitude between 1200 m and 1400 m with little over 8000 inhabitants, are the following: Moena (the most densely populated centre), Soraga, Vigo, Pozza, Mazzin, Canazei and Campitello (at an altitude of 1448 m). The place-name derives from the Latin "campus", which means glade, open space without vegetation. The peaks Sassolungo and Col Rodella dominate the built-up area, making the landscape unique and unforgettable. A cableway connects Campitello, at Ischia, with the peak of Col Rodella (2404 m). Winter In winter skiers have many opportunities available thanks to the functional ski facilities and to the advanced artificial snow systems. From Col Rodella you can reach in few minutes the ski facilities and the ski courses taking from Passo Sella to Val Gardena and to the area round Sellaronda. For the winter season we offer our guests a shuttle bus service to the cableway of Campitello, return included. The service is daily available from 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and from 4 p.m. till closing time of the sports facilities. Summer In summer the territory including Sassolungo, Sasso Piatto and the tableland of Sciliar is the ideal destination for pleasant excursions and it is worth mentioning also the nice walk connecting Campitello and Canazei with its 3000 m long equipped life route. In the last few years the village has been equipped with a modern functional sports centre where tourists can practice sports climbing, basket, five-a-side football and tennis.
